Bryan Cohen

Market President
Atlanta

Bryan Cohen is the former CEO of Quantum National Bank.

Following Quantum’s merger with HomeTrust in 2023, Bryan’s focus and commitment is to the full and successful integration of both financial institutions.

As Senior Vice President and Market President, he focuses on the combined company’s growth in Georgia.

He believes the Metro Atlanta area presents HomeTrust with a unique opportunity to expand to the most culturally diverse hubs in the Southeast and takes pride in noting that Gwinnett County is the most ethnically county east of the Mississippi River.

Bryan began his banking tenure as a board member of Quantum in 2002 while serving as president of Touchstone Homes, a home building and development company. He served in the latter role for 23 years.

He became CEO of Quantum during the housing crisis of 2008 and successfully steered the company through the Great Recession and the real estate challenges of the period.

In an ever-changing banking environment, he believes agility and adaptation are key, and he remains dedicated to evaluating decisions and their impact, factoring in dynamic economic realities, and collaborating with others.

Bryan earned a Master’s in Real Estate Finance from Georgia State University and a Bachelor’s in Finance from the University of Oregon. He started his career at Merrill Lynch Commercial Real Estate.

He previously served as president for the Council for Quality Growth and a board member for the Gwinnett County Chamber of Commerce. He is also a former board member of the Georgia Bankers Association.

In his free time, he enjoys hiking, traveling, and most of all, spending time with his family, two sons and their wives, and six grandchildren, including two sets of twins.
