Tammy Smith, a Business Banking Officer and Business Center Leader in Cary, North Carolina, started her banking career in Charlotte.

In 2008, she left the industry to become a stay-at-home mom. Some 15 years later when her youngest son graduated high school, she moved to the Raleigh/Cary area and re-entered the workforce by joining HomeTrust.

Tammy takes pride in forming relationships with business owners to help them meet their financial goals. She has handled $2.0MM in refinancing for a learning academy in the Durham area; a roughly $2.0MM SBA loan for the purchase of a gas station in Monroe, North Carolina; and $565K in financing for a woman-owned champagne bar in Cary.

Tammy is an Ambassador for the Cary Chamber of Commerce and holds a National Mortgage License and Life Insurance License.

She lives in Holly Springs outside of Raleigh and loves spending time with her husband of more than 35 years, three children, five grandchildren, and Yorkie-poo. All of her immediate family members live within 15 minutes of her house.
