This 5k (open to anyone) kicks off the 6 week Step One Challenge for the citizens of Cleveland County, North Carolina. The contest will run from Saturday, August 27th – Friday, October 8th. Participants will form teams of 3-6 people who will track their steps over the 6 weeks, striving for 10,000 steps per day. Each person will receive a FREE walking log and pedometer.
