Charlotte, North Carolina – On December 8th HomeTrust Bank VP, Relationship Manager, Sallie Jarosz was presented with the Outreach Award at the CREW Excellence Awards Luncheon.

CREW Charlotte is a professional organization whose core purpose is to influence the success of the commercial real estate industry by advancing the achievements of women.

Jarosz received the Outreach award due to her commitment to her new position as co-chair of the Leadership Development Committee. In her short time as co-chair, she restructured their efforts to produce a much more successful committee. Jarosz has also served as an informal mentor to two different CREW members, and will become a formal member in 2016.

During the presentation, Bobbi Jo Lazarus, 2014 CREW President, made the following comments about Jarosz’s efforts in CREW. “In 2015, this outstanding lady took on the role of co-chairing our Leadership Development Committee and taking the committee that was once ran by the incoming president, to an active committee within the chapter. This task included a restructure of the committee and redevelopment of its strategic plan. Not only did she fully full fill this goal, she personally nominated over 17 of our members for recognition within the Charlotte committee with 10 of those members being recognized for the achievements.”

Lazarus continued on a personal note, “as the board liaison for the Leadership Development Committee, I was beyond grateful to have her as one of my co-chairs and so beyond honored to have had the chance to work with her this year and now present her with this very deserving award.”
