Adam Shores is President of the Virginia Market based in Roanoke, Virginia.
He works with commercial customers throughout the Roanoke Valley including operating companies, municipalities, and real estate investors, with a focus on entities with revenues in excess of $5.0MM and/or loan and deposit needs in excess of $1.0MM.
As an experienced commercial banker, Adam is dedicated to crafting timely and unique solutions to fit business needs. Some of his loan successes include a $34MM construction/permanent loan for a new nursing home complex; $9.0MM in tax-exempt bond financing for a municipality; a $6.0MM term loan to finance an owner-occupied facility; a $5.0MM working capital line of credit for a distributor; a $4.0MM leveraged buyout of a manufacturing company; and a $5.0MM term loan to finance a local church.
Adam graduated with a Bachelor in Finance from Virginia Tech and started his career working in a commercial banking management program with a large regional bank. He began establishing the commercial and industrial division of a regional community bank in the Roanoke Valley in 2006.
HomeTrust hired Adam to lead the Bank’s entry into Virginia in 2014.
Cooking is Adam’s favorite pastime, and his most recent focus has been on making wood-fired pizza and homemade pasta.
When not cooking or enjoying the outdoors, Adam likes taking care of an orchid collection and learning the art of bonsai.
