Chad Scott, a Vice President and Senior Business Banking Officer at HomeTrust, specializes in business development, origination of loans, deposit oversight, and treasury management for small-to-medium-sized businesses in Roanoke, Virginia.
As a Roanoke native, Chad also views banking as a way to impact the community he has been involved with during the entirety of his professional life.
Chad currently serves as an advisory board member for Virginia Western Community College; president of the Greater Williamson Road Area Business Association; and active member of the Roanoke Regional Chamber of Commerce and Roanoke Business Council.

Chad graduated from the North Carolina School of Banking and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Radford University and a Masters of Business Administration from Longwood University.
Outside of work, he enjoys playing tennis, kayaking, hiking, reading, and cooking, including re-creating dishes he discovers at restaurants and building a regularly expanding menu of family-approved recipes.
Otherwise, he and his family can be found planning trips to the Pacific Northwest, national parks in Utah, New England, or elsewhere.
