Rose Center, Morristown’s cultural arts center will be celebrating 42 years of family fun with the annual Mountain Makins Festival. The award-winning festival, started in 1976 as a way to raise funds to save historic Rose School, celebrates the very best of Appalachian culture, from crafts to music. The festival is a delightful combination of crafts, food, music, dancing and fun.
