This is Charlotte's oldest road race and features a fantastic tour of the scenic residential streets of the Elizabeth neighborhood.

This event, hosted by the Rotary Club of Roanoke – Downtown, will feature an evening of fellowship among friends, live music, a raffle, as well as a live and silent auction benefiting three local organizations.

ShalomFest, the only Jewish festival in Upstate SC, is an annual event featuring a variety of educational programs, specialty foods, and entertainment. Admission is free and individual vendors accept cash, checks and some may accept credit cards.

HomeTrust Bank is proud to support Hospice of Cleveland County. This years Chicken Dinner & Dessert Sale will take place on Friday April 7th. The $12 plates will include 1/2 chicken, slaw, pickles, baked beans, roll and dessert, what a deal!

This year CF/CIS is holding their 6th annual Are you Smarter Than an Elementary Student trivial night. So grab your smartest friends, make a team, and come out to compete for great prizes, as well as the coveted title of valedictorian.

This event will be lit! Starting with glow in the dark Zumba, and ending with a 5K, money raised for this event will money for Smart Start funded programs in Davidson County.

This year marks the 16th annual Rossini Festival International Street Fair presented by Knoxville Opera. Knoxville natives and visitors can enjoy 11 hours of live entertainment on five outdoor stages (opera, jazz, ethnic music, gospel, modern and ethnic dance, ballet, vocal and instrumental ensembles) and the YMCA FamilyZone while shopping at exhibits of over 100 prominent Artisans and enjoying cuisine from dozens of food vendors.

The annual Business Ethics Luncheon brings together Asheville/Buncombe high school students and community leaders to share a meal, listen to a thoughtful keynote, and engage in lively conversation about current issues in business and ethics. Each year, more than 150 young people benefit from this signature event!

The Gauntlet is a small business enterprise development event produced by The Advancement Foundation. At the beginning of February a training program began, which engaged entrepreneurs in business plan development, market research, operational detail and sales/marketing techniques. The program will culminate on April 27th with judged presentations and The Gauntlet Business Competition awards event.
