On October 1st, two HomeTrust Bank locations in Knoxville placed Toys for Tots bins in their lobbies. Toys for Tots is an organization run by the US Marine Corps Reserve to collects toys for less fortunate children in the community.
Shortly after placing the Toys for Tots bins in the lobby, a very special family came in the drop off toys. Adam, Kendal, and Brayden are siblings that have birthdays close together. This year they decided to have a joint birthday party and asked their guests to bring a new, unwrapped toy to be given to Toys for Tots in lieu of presents for themselves.
Bearden Branch Manager, Kelly Vittatoe was on site to get a picture of the kids dropping off toys.
HomeTrust Bank wants to send a special thank you to these amazing and thoughtful kids. By the smiles on their faces, we can see that no toy can compare to the feeling of doing something good in their community!
