Rutherford County Bank Announces Opening of New Location in Forest City

“Having previously worked in Rutherford County for many years, I am looking forward to reconnecting with many of my former customers and establishing new relationships with local businesses and individuals,” stated Jerry Johnson, President of Rutherford County Bank.

Two directors, in addition to Jerry Johnson, have already been announced. The new directors include Brent Washburn, owner of Washburn Associates, and Odean Keever, owner of Odean Keever & Associates. Brent Washburn, also an elected County Commissioner for Rutherford County, commenting on the new bank stated, “It is very important to have local banks, focused on supporting our local business, as we build the local economy. Growth of small, locally owned business is the greatest single source of job creation. Jerry Johnson, with his many years of banking experience, will have a major impact on the continued growth and development of the Rutherford County economy.” Odean Keever recognized the opportunity for Rutherford County Bank to support the housing market in Rutherford County. The new Rutherford County Bank office will be open Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m and on Fridays from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. (drive-thru opens at 8:30 a.m. weekdays).
