HomeTrust Bank TV Ad wins Telly Award

The annual Telly Awards drew nearly 13,000 entries from all 50 states. HomeTrust Bank worked with local videography company, Industrious Productions, on the project.

The 60-second spot, part of the Bank’s “Mortgages That Fit” Campaign, features Asheville local Lauren Tamayo, a silver medalist of the 2012 London Games. The commercial follows Lauren as she shares her story of building a new home while training for the Olympics. A HomeTrust Bank mortgage made it easy for Lauren and her husband Mike to keep eyes on London while building a life in North Carolina.

HomeTrust Loan Officer Mary Kate Rikard worked with the Tamayos on the mortgage for their new construction home. “I’m so excited that Lauren was featured in our advertising campaign. I cannot think of a better, more suited fit to demonstrate HomeTrust Bank’s values of hard work, dedication and determination. It was a pleasure to work with Lauren and Mike as they built their home,” Rikard commented. “I am so proud of her successes, in both the Olympics and also her work with local children and the cycling community.”
