Freddie Malone has been fascinated by the concept of time, interest, and money since he was young. After mowing yards and saving up cash, he opened his first bank account around the age of 7 and made regular deposits.
His childhood hobby ultimately propelled him to a lifelong career in banking and finance.
Freddie, a Senior Vice President and Relationship Manager in Johnson City, focuses on middle market commercial and industrial businesses and real estate developers in the Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia regions. He assists clients with products and services including financing, deposits and treasury management, credit cards, trust and investment services, and retirement planning.
Freddie has spent his entire career in the Tri-Cities Region of Tennessee. He’s been actively involved with United Way and Niswonger Children’s Hospital, and he serves on the Johnson City Development Authority Board of Directors. He is also serving his second term on the Washington County Commission representing the 8th District, where he aims to give back to the community and facilitate the county’s growth and economic development.
He graduated from David Crockett High School, East Tennessee State University, and Louisiana State University’s Graduate School of Banking.
He and his wife have two adult children and are active members of Northridge Community Church.
