It seems like every year a major retailer announces a data breach has taken place during the holiday season.

This year, HomeTrust Bank wants to make it faster, easier and safer to use your cards with Mobile Payments like Apple Pay, Android Pay and Samsung Pay.

How Does It work?

Your debit or credit card number is not stored or used when paying with Apple Pay, Android Pay, or Samsung Pay, making it less susceptible to breaches. Rather than your actual card number, a unique “token” number is generated for that specific transaction, and only used once.

• Get through the ling faster! We’ve all be stuck behind a customer using a chip card, and we know how long that can take. Not only are Mobile Payments faster, but they are more secure!
• You will continue to gain all the rewards from your debit or credit card purchased.
• Mobile payments are still covered by the same HomeTrust security that protects your debit or credit card.
