On Wednesday, October 5th, Pisgah Legal Services will welcome Marian Wright Edelman to Asheville as the keynote speaker for our 6th Annual Poverty Forum.

Participants are welcome to walk/run or use bikes, strollers or skates as they wind through the beautiful campus of AB Tech. Other activities include face painting, music, prize giveaways, and a delicious lunch provided by Outback Steakhouse.

Trick-or-treating doesn’t have to be scary! That’s why on October 31st, HomeTrust Bank and the Johnson City Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the 21th Annual Trick or Treat on Walnut Street.

This family friendly event takes place at the Cleveland County Fairgrounds and has three major components: car & cycle show, craft booths and BBQ!

NAIOP Charlotte Battle of the Bands will “rock your world” to benefit The Harvest Center. Three bands will battle it out for the title of Best Band at the year’s premier networking event. Great food, drinks and music.
