Kristin Powell, Director of Mortgage Lending, was interviewed regarding upcoming changes to mortgage lending. TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure, or TRID, takes effect on October 3rd and changes some of the requirements and documents for mortgage lending. “I don’t think from the standpoint of being able to serve clients there will be any effect whatsoever,” Powell said. “From an operations standpoint, it’s just making sure that we have all of our compliance in line. Then it will be our job to set the right expectation and communicate along the process as far as timing goes.”
