HomeTrust Employees Raise Money for Eliada

As a company, HomeTrust Bank prides itself on giving back to the community. However, it turns out that the employees of HomeTrust do too!

On December 10, the Asheville offices of HomeTrust Bank participated in a “Dinner to Go” fundraiser for Eliada, facilitated by Manager, Project Management Office, Holly Fallias.

Eliada is an organization whose vision is to provide an optimal learning environment that empowers children and their families to succeed. They envision a world where children’s needs are met in a caring environment. Eliada’s full service continuum includes: Psychiatric Residential Treatment, Foster Care and Therapeutic Foster Care, Day Treatment, Transitional Living and Vocational Training, and Early Learning.

This fundraiser consisted of a “Dinner to Go” order where HomeTrust bank employees could pay for a delicious meal provided by Bellagio Bistro in Asheville, NC and desserts donated by other Bank employees. Over 100 dinners were sold. Combined with a donation from HomeTrust Bank, $3000 was raised for this very worthy cause.

While presenting the check to Elida was great, it was even more exciting to get this picture from Eliada representative, Tami Ruckman. These are just some of the children that will benefit from the donation.
