HomeTrust Bank Elects Dana L. Stonestreet as President and as a Member of the Board of Directors at the Bank’s Annual Meeting

Since joining HomeTrust Bank in 1989, Stonestreet has served in several capacities including Chief Financial Officer and, for the past six years as Chief Operating Officer. Stonestreet will continue to serve as Chief Operating Officer. In addition, he will succeed Ed Broadwell as President, who will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer.

In addition to his many years of leadership and service to the Bank’s customers and employees, Stonestreet is active in the civic and banking community, serving on the boards of directors of many organizations including the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce, RiverLink, YMCA of Western North Carolina, United Way of Buncombe County, Community Trust of the Southeast, North Carolina Title Center, LLC, and North Carolina Bankers Association.

Mr. Stonestreet is a 1975 graduate of West Liberty State College, WV and has a B.S. degree in Business Administration, with a major in Accounting. He has held a CPA certification since 1976. Stonestreet lives in Asheville with his wife, Jana, and they have three grown children.
