HomeTrust Bank will offer onsite ATM service to patrons of the Wilma M. Sherrill Center and Kimmel Arena. “We are thrilled to be partnering with HomeTrust Bank,” said Janet R. Cone, UNC Asheville senior administrator for university enterprises and director of athletics. “HomeTrust Bank is deeply involved in the Asheville community, and we are excited they have decided to be the first corporate partner in the Kimmel Arena. We believe that visitors to the Sherrill Center from across the state will benefit from their presence and involvement with the Bulldogs.” The multi-year agreement uniquely places HomeTrust Bank on campus. Under the terms of the agreement, HomeTrust Bank will receive radio, print, and Internet advertising, as well as signage and on-campus and game day promotional opportunities. The partnership between UNC Asheville Athletics and HomeTrust Bank goes through 2014. We are pleased to partner with UNC Asheville visionaries and community leaders to bring new venues, such as this facility, to Western North Carolina to further enhance the quality of life for our community.” HomeTrust Bank has been a long-term corporate partner of the Bulldogs and made a $25,000 donation to the Sherrill Center in 2008. The HomeTrust Bank ATM located on the grounds of the Sherrill Center features a custom design specifically for UNC Asheville. The ATM design incorporates both HomeTrust Bank and UNC Asheville branding and highlights the WNC mountain architecture featured in the Kimmel Arena architecture The Sherrill Center, which will open this fall, will house the multi-purpose Kimmel Arena, the academic programs of the Department of Health and Wellness, and the N.C. Center for Health & Wellness, which is a statewide hub for the promotion of healthy living through the prevention of disease.
