Looking forward to the big game and in honor of Rocky, UNCA’s mascot, Buncombe County offices hosted a Pet Photo Contest this week. Customers were encouraged to bring a photo of their pet and “Pick the BETTER Blue,” whether it was Bulldog Royal or Carolina Blue. Pets received treats and a bandana to wear in their choice of Blue. Rocky the Bulldog made an appearance at the Downtown Asheville HomeTrust Bank office on Thursday afternoon to referee basketball drills for adults and kids alike. A group from Children First came to the bank to test their skills, and they had the moves! Prizes for participants included UNCA hats, key chains, stickers, HomeTrust/Bulldog T-shirts and more.
