Thomas has spent her 16-year career teaching all levels of chemistry to Asheville High and SILSA (School of Inquiry and Life Sciences at Asheville) students. This year, Thomas has ‘invented’ a new Honors course at Asheville High called Chemistry, Special Topics. Among these special topics: chemistry of weather, organics and food.
