Mr. Smith currently serves as a Consulting Partner for ADS Corp in Greer, South Carolina. He is also President of Optimum Performance, Inc., which provides manufacturing and service companies with strategic planning for future markets and competitors. In addition to Mr. Smith’s many years of business leadership and service, he has actively served in leadership roles on organizations including, but not limited to:
- Director – American Red Cross
- Finance Committee Chair – Tryon First Baptist Church
- Volunteer for Thermal Belt Outreach
- Volunteer for American Cancer Society
Mr. Smith lives in Tryon with his wife Patricia, whose father, Russell Constance, was a former President and Board of Director member for Tryon Federal Savings & Loan (now known as Tryon Federal Bank).
