Tryon Federal Bank at Chamber Business Expo

Businesses and organizations were given the day to talk to their community regarding products, services and volunteer opportunities around Tryon and Polk County. Tryon Federal Bank team members gave people the chance to win prizes and answered questions regarding banking and banking products such as mortgages and checking accounts.

Peggy Orr, Branch Sales and Service Manager at Tryon Federal’s Columbus office, and Sonja Laughter, Deposit Operations Manager at the Tryon office, teamed up to take over 60 years of combined banking experience to the expo. This Tryon Federal Bank dynamic duo spread the word “BETTER” through the event. BETTER local banking. BETTER decisions. BETTER service. They also talked to people who were interested in more modern banking technologies like Tryon Federal’s Mobile Banking App with Mobile Deposit and eStatements.

“It’s great to get out in the community and show people what Tryon Federal is all about. We have exciting new online and mobile technologies to offer our customers,” said Orr.

It looks like the Business and Community Expo will be an annual event for the Carlina Foothills Chamber. Tryon Federal Bankers look forward to many more events for our local Polk County communities and the surrounding areas.

The mission of the Carolina Foothills Chamber of Commerce is to provide leadership in developing opportunities that enhance quality of life in the community. The Business & Community Expo was the Chamber’s latest event to carry out that mission.
