Previously, David worked in an advisory role for Bankers Life Securities Inc. and Bankers Life Advisory Services Inc. and as a licensed insurance agent for Bankers Life and Casualty Company. He earned a Bachelor of Science in government politics and policy from Liberty University and holds life, annuity, health, and long term care insurance licenses in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia, in addition to his Series 7 and 66 registrations.
Born and raised in Raleigh, he attends Holy Trinity Anglican Church, serves on the leadership team for the Liberty University Raleigh-Durham Alumni Chapter, and remains involved with North Carolina Museum of History Associates.
He also plays golf and heads West most years to ski, counting Sun Valley, Whistler Blackcomb, Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, Vail, Solitude, Brighton, Lake Tahoe, Banff, and a small ski area known as Loveland among the spots he has frequented.
He currently lives in Cary, North Carolina.
