When Jeff Kale started the Equipment Finance Division at HomeTrust Bank in 2017, he believed it could take up to five years to become successful. He credits a good plan and great employees for quickly exceeding his early objectives.
Now based on the second floor of HomeTrust’s regional headquarters in Cornelius, North Carolina, the Equipment Finance Division has its own in-house sales, operations, and credit underwriting departments. It has also grown to become one of the top forty Equipment Finance companies in the United States.
As director, Jeff enjoys stretching himself and bringing others along on the division’s journey. He finds it fascinating to hear about his clients’ goals and provide tailored financing and leasing options for purchases of revenue-producing commercial equipment.
Jeff earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Appalachian State University.
He started his career at Ford Motor Credit in 1986 and previously served in leadership positions related to business development and sales management at BB&T. He is also a board member at Sonlight Fellowship and an elder at Christ Community Church.
Jeff and his wife live in Mooresville, North Carolina and have two adult sons. They enjoy volunteering in the community and vacationing to spots near and far.
