As a native of Madison County, Cherlon Young is passionate about supporting the growth of small businesses at a locally-owned bank where “a handshake still conveys promise.”
Cherlon started her career as a bank teller and spent the next three decades working her way up the ranks and retiring as a top performing branch manager at Wells Fargo.
She started her second career at HomeTrust in 2019 as an Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager before transitioning into her current role as a Business Banker.
Outside of work, Cherlon serves on several community boards and committees and volunteers in schools teaching financial basics to elementary students. She also enjoys camping in national parks with her family and flying anywhere with white sand beaches and palm trees.
She lives in Marshall, North Carolina with her husband and has four children.
