Born and raised in Charlotte, Kosta Koutsokalis is a first-generation American who takes pride in his Greek roots.
As Business Banking Area Manager, Kosta works closely with the Greek community and others to provide borrowing options up to $2MM, including owner-occupied real estate loans, working lines of capital, and equipment loans. He strives to stay accountable and rely on his close network to offer genuine assistance to help clients reach their goals.
Kosta graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business with a concentration in Sales and Marketing from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and is a licensed mortgage broker. He started his career as a wholesaler and has focused on business development, account managing, and sales for more than 15 years.
He also classifies himself as a “gigantic soccer fan,” who has flown to Greece for four days to watch a soccer game. Although his favorite team is Piraeus-based Olympiakos, his love extends to the Carolina Panthers, Carolina Hurricanes, Atlanta Braves, North Carolina Tar Heels, and Charlotte FC.
He attends Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church and lives in Charlotte with his wife.
