For more than 15 years, Jonathan Jobe has witnessed the evolution of a rural savings bank into a full-service regional community bank.
Prior to HomeTrust’s public stock offering, seven mutual savings banks combined to form the HomeTrust Banking Partnership.
In 2012, the Partnership became part of the shareholder-owned bank today known as HomeTrust Bank, and Jonathan began overseeing the Piedmont Triad area of North Carolina. He subsequently took on all the state’s Non-Metro Markets.
Jonathan believes the bank is now well-equipped with products, services, talent, and know-how to execute at the highest level while still delivering personalized service to commercial and industrial clients, real estate investors, and governmental entities.
He remains honored to be part of an organization that has been able to expand as a bank while helping communities and their citizens to grow and prosper. Sample recent transactions include a $1.5MM operating line of credit and a $1.0MM equipment loan to commercial and industrial clients, as well as a $300K line of credit and a $500K commercial mortgage for small business owners.
Jonathan graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Management and previously worked for Wachovia Bank as a Market President. He currently serves on the boards of the Rockingham County Community Foundation, Rockingham County Community College Foundation, Citizens for Economic Development, and the local Salvation Army.
Jonathan and his wife, Julie, attend Grace Reform Baptist Church and reside in the Bethany community.
