Lynn Cook’s father owned a heating and air company, her mother owned a local furniture store, her husband is a building developer and contractor, and her son owns and operates a dumpster rental company. Needless to say, her family tree includes a long line of business entrepreneurs who have taught her about the complicated and ever-changing needs of a business owner.
As a Senior Commercial Relationship Manager at HomeTrust in Asheville, North Carolina, Lynn specializes in financing needs including real estate purchases and expansions, equipment financing, and operating lines of credit for companies throughout the Carolinas with revenues up to $100MM.
She has particular expertise working with companies in the manufacturing and service industries and also works with commercial real estate investors seeking to acquire, improve, or refinance investment-grade properties.
Some of her recent transactions include a $5MM real estate loan with a hedge to lock in longer term financing; a $12MM operating line of credit; a $19MM construction transaction for the expansion of an educational facility in Western North Carolina, and more than $25MM in credit facilities with a regional franchisee in the food and beverage industry.
She began her commercial banking career in the early 2000s and joined HomeTrust as a Relationship Manager in 2017.
Raised in Greer, South Carolina, she moved to the mountains of North Carolina about 25 years ago. She is passionate about mentoring others and credits her own opportunities to colleagues and friends.
She enjoys an occasional round of golf and spending time with her son, step-daughter, and husband.
