Around the turn of the 20th century, BJ Case’s great-grandparents opened the historic Case School in the Madison area of Western Rockingham County, North Carolina.
The one-room schoolhouse, located on Case School Road, educated 13 children from the Case family, as well as the children of neighboring families, serving as a pillar of the local community.
More than a century later, BJ continues his family’s multi-generational commitment to the area as Community Market President of HomeTrust Bank, where he oversees banking relationships across the Piedmont Triad of North Carolina.
In his role, BJ focuses on commercial mortgages, equipment financing, and operating lines of credit for small to mid-sized businesses, including commercial and industrial clients, real estate investors, and governmental entities. Beyond lending solutions, he also works closely with clients to understand their broader financial objectives and offer support through deposits, treasury services, business planning, and succession planning.
A lifelong resident of the Piedmont Triad area, BJ takes pride in building strong relationships throughout the community and supporting its continued growth and economic development.
Prior to joining HomeTrust Bank, BJ spent more than two decades in the banking industry, serving in leadership roles with First National Bank and earning national recognition as a top performer at BB&T, which later became Truist.
He holds a degree in Business Administration from Rockingham Community College and is a graduate of the BB&T Banking School at Wake Forest University. BJ is also active in a range of community and philanthropic efforts, including service with the Salvation Army and leadership within Rotary District 7690 as a former Assistant District Governor.
Outside of work, he has been a church pianist since the age of 15 and still provides music for services at area churches.
He and his wife live in Reidsville and have two children.
