Steve Fletcher is Senior Vice President, Senior Commercial Relationship Manager in Charlotte, North Carolina, a state he’s proud to call home.
Steve started his commercial banking career in Treasury Sales in Charlotte, working as both an analyst and sales officer before moving into a relationship manager role with First National Bank.
In early 2021, after six years in Charlotte, he returned home to the Philadelphia area and continued his work as a relationship manager.
Less than 18 months later, the quality of life in Charlotte motivated him to return, and he settled back into the South End area.
Steve primarily works with manufacturers, distributors, commercial real estate developers, and investors. His expertise in banking includes providing solutions such as commercial loans, working capital and capex financing, treasury solutions, derivatives, and other financing options.
He has handled credit relationships for reputable manufacturing companies in Charlotte; a participation in a senior secured revolving credit facility for a manufacturer in Philadelphia; construction to permanent financing for a commercial project in Charlotte; and multiple swap transactions for owner-occupied commercial real estate. He also implemented various other financial tools for the benefit of his clients.
Steve previously worked at SunTrust Bank and First National Bank, and he holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Pennsylvania State University, where he played shortstop. While he misses the camaraderie that comes along with playing team sports, he says he often works together with clients in a similar way.
He enjoys running and trains for 1-2 marathons per year. He also enjoys playing golf and tennis to tap into that competitive spirit he maintains.
