Steve Fletcher is Vice President, Commercial Relationship Manager in Charlotte, North Carolina, a state he’s proud to call home.
Steve started his commercial banking career in treasury sales in North Carolina, working as both an analyst and sales officer before moving back to Philadelphia in 2021 to work as a relationship manager.
In 2022, the quality of life and close-knit community of Charlotte beckoned him back, and he returned to the South End to settle down.
Steve takes pride in building business relationships in the area and enjoys working at what he calls the “smallest big bank” you can find.
He primarily works with commercial real estate developers, manufacturers, distributors, investors, brokers and other professionals, and his expertise in banking solutions includes commercial loans, lines of credit, and treasury, leasing, and derivative opportunities.
He has handled a $7.0MM credit relationship for a reputable manufacturing company in Charlotte; a $50MM participation in a senior secured revolving credit facility for a manufacturer in Philadelphia; $2.5MM in construction to permanent financing for a commercial project in Charlotte; and a $5.0MM swap transaction for owner-occupied commercial real estate in Salisbury, North Carolina.
Steve previously worked at SunTrust Bank and First National Bank, and he holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Pennsylvania State University, where he played shortstop. While he misses the camaraderie that comes along with playing team sports, he says he often works together with clients in a similar way.
He is a member of The First Tee of Greater Charlotte and still embraces his competitive spirit by playing tennis and golf.
