Corey Foos specializes in Commercial and Industrial lending in HomeTrust’s Raleigh office.
As a Vice President and Commercial Relationship Manager, Corey helps business to navigate financial challenges by pairing sound credit structure with a long-term understanding of their goals, ensuring clients have the flexibility and stability to grow through changing market conditions.
In his role, he structures a range of credit facilities, including working capital lines, revolving credit, equipment financing, and owner-occupied real estate loans, to help businesses across industries such as manufacturing, technology, medical services, construction, and real estate investment to achieve their aims.
Corey strives to be a trusted advisor who prioritizes transparency, sets expectations, and delivers results.
Among his successes, he helped a regional food manufacturing company secure financing to purchase its own headquarters and production facility through a $6MM owner-occupied real estate loan, while building a working capital line of credit to support growth and operational flexibility. He also supported a software company’s expansion to $44MM in annual revenue by growing a $1MM credit line to $4.5MM.
In addition to lending, Corey contributes to HomeTrust’s treasury operations by helping attract clients with significant deposit balances that strengthen the bank’s overall financial position.
Prior to HomeTrust, he spent over 12 years as a Senior Business Specialist and Commercial and Industrial underwriter at Wells Fargo and First Carolina Bank.
Corey also remains active in the community and currently serves as chairman of the tuition assistance program for The Raleigh School.
Outside of work, he enjoys playing basketball and golf, hiking, watching movies, and sharing his love of music and books with his family.
He lives in Knightdale, North Carolina and values time spent with his wife and daughter, whether they’re exploring new places or relaxing at home.
