Over a career spanning four decades, Rob McCain is most proud of building strong relationships that have contributed to the personal development and sustainable growth of associates and clients.

As HomeTrust Market President for the Greater Charlotte Metropolitan area, Rob works alongside his team to assist operating companies, developers, investors, professional service entities, and others with financial solutions including revolving lines of credit, real estate financing, equipment finance, financing for acquisitions, and treasury products.

He also feels fortunate to help HomeTrust in Charlotte, a community which he believes to be on a notable growth trajectory.

Among his successes in the area are a $15MM construction to permanent loan for a manufacturing plant; a $9MM construction to permanent loan for an industrial warehouse; a $15MM renovation loan in the hospitality space; and a $10MM borrowing base line of credit for an operating company.

Rob has worked in commercial banking in Charlotte since 1989. Prior to his current position, he held the titles of Market Executive and Manager of Commercial Banking at First Citizens Bank, as well as Line of Business Manager for Commercial Real Estate Lending at SunTrust in the Carolinas.

A native of Monroe, North Carolina, Rob received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his Master in Business Administration from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He is also a graduate of the School of Banking at Louisiana State University.

He currently serves on the boards of the McLeod Centers for Wellbeing; the Public Policy Committee for the Union County Chamber of Commerce; and HealthQuest, a nonprofit; as well as the advisory board for the School of Business at Wingate University.

When not working, he enjoys playing tennis and golf, attending country and jazz concerts, and doing any activity that allows him to spend time with his wife and two sons.
