There’s no place like Greenville, South Carolina. I was born and raised in the Upstate region. I moved to Greenville in 1980, and I’ve been working in and around this market ever since. More than just ties, I have my roots here. 

 

Client Focus

Every year, there are thousands of people moving to our county. We have BMW’s largest plant nearby, an inland port, and strong public-private partnerships, all of which leads to a thriving business environment. I like to see my customers not only when we’re in the office, but when we’re out in the community, building up Greenville to be the great town it is.

I focus on privately held companies with revenues up to $300 million, commercial real estate developers/investors, brokers and other professionals in the South Carolina market.

Representative Transactions

  • Led a commercial deal team in a value-add investor acquisition of a 300k SF++ office building in Greenville, SC providing acquisition, upfit and TI financing.
  • Financed 1 million++ SF owner occupied industrial plant in Upstate, SC for 30 + year old manufacturer
  • Provided $5MM working capital line of credit and enhanced treasury platform to maximize cash flow for a $30MM distributor
  • Numerous RE Development and Acquisition deals ranging in size from $1MM to $50MM over a 30 year career
  • Directly managed ~ 25 commercial team members to include Relationship Managers, Credit Analysts, and Business Associates and led ~ 500 Bankwide employees as Market President. Consistently expanded and increased market share in all business lines including Commercial, Retail, and Wealth.
  • Successfully turned around low-performing teams to substantially higher rankings at a large multi-national bank as well as multiple community banks.
  • Hired, trained, developed and promoted employees across all commercial job families to successful careers.
