Robert Moore, a Senior Commercial Relationship Manager, believes relationships and trust are at the core of banking.
As third-generation Spartanburg local, he enjoys running into his clients at church, restaurants, the grocery store, and the golf course and takes pride in bringing a community bank to his hometown.
Robert specializes in real estate, corporate acquisitions, and working capital financing structures to support privately held companies with revenues up to $300MM, including manufacturers, distributors, commercial real estate developers, investors, brokers, and others in Upstate South Carolina. He finds fulfillment in seeing clients and their families financially benefit from his recommendations.
After working at financial institutions large and small, he views HomeTrust as the best combination of each — small enough for him to know his clients personally, but large enough to offer technological capabilities and full service to the business and its owners.
Robert has more than 30 years of experience in the Spartanburg market. Prior to joining the bank, he served as a Senior Vice President at several other financial institutions in Spartanburg.
Robert holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina. He is very active in his membership at First Baptist Church of Spartanburg, is a past chair and current member of the Executive Board of the Regional Education Center, and enjoys playing golf anywhere in the Upstate.
He lives in Spartanburg with his wife, Tracey, and their four children.
