Eli Gissell, Vice President and Commercial Relationship Manager, says she’s happy to be there for her kids and clients with a banking career that gives her work-life balance.
As a founding member of the HomeTrust team in Charleston, Eli focuses on establishing HomeTrust’s presence in the market while carrying on the values that make it unique.
She supports privately held companies with financing needs ranging from real estate purchases to lines of credit, and she strives to make banking seamless and worry-free. Her recent transactions include a $4.0MM SBA loan for a medical waste facility in Ladson, South Carolina; a $11MM deposit operating and treasury relationship with an event space; and $5.0MM loan for a furniture manufacturer.
Eli previously worked at Ameris Bank and Bank of America, where she was awarded the Top Small Business Performer Award, which is given to just 10% of Small Business Bankers.
She calls herself a “hockey mom” and a “dance mom” and feels lucky her childrens’ school calendar reflects bank holiday closures.
She lives in the Daniel Island/Mount Pleasant neighborhood of Charleston and loves any piece of water, from the pool to a beach.
