Heidi Finniff

Senior Commercial Relationship Manager
Charleston & Coastal South Carolina

As Senior Vice President and Commercial Banking Relationship Manager, Heidi Finniff supports the Charleston commercial lending team in its Lowcountry market expansion.

She specializes in owner-occupied commercial real estate, lines of credit, and equipment financing, in addition to improving client operations related to billing, inventory management, payment cycles, cash flow, and more.

With 20 years of experience in commercial and retail banking, Heidi believes the common thread throughout her career has been her ability to build and nurture meaningful relationships. She thrives on devoting time and attention to understanding her clients’ business, and she believes that her sustained diligence allows her to provide council, service, and solutions to improve business efficiency.

Heidi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Theology from Saint Mary’s College, Notre Dame and earned her Commercial Credit Training and Advanced Commercial Lending Certificate from the American Bankers Association.

She began her career in retail banking at USBank and later transitioned into commercial lending, navigating multiple markets, bank mergers, and the challenges of the 2008 Financial Crisis along the way.

After relocating to Charleston in 2016 to be closer to family, she formed part of a team which successfully launched First National Bank of Pennsylvania in the market during the Covid pandemic. Most recently, she played a role in scaling First Capital Bank from $300M to $1B in assets.

She is the past president of the Lakewood/Rocky River Rotary Club; current chair of the Historic Charleston Rotary Foundation Committee; a Board Member of the Alliance Française of Charleston; and a member of CREW Charleston, a professional network for women in commercial real estate. She is also a volunteer mentor to entrepreneurs and female owned businesses.

In her free time, Heidi enjoys cycling, traveling internationally, volunteering to transport rescue dogs, and spending time with family and her two pups, Ella and Edwin.

She is based in the Charleston metropolitan area and the Lowcountry.
