Jason Todd began his career in banking with a college internship that included operating a 25-foot proof machine, keying in every bank transaction, coding and sorting checks into pockets, and bundling and sending them to the U.S. Federal Reserve.
Jason is now Vice President, Construction Lending Relationship Manager at HomeTrust Bank.
In his role, he provides residential construction loans, acquisition and development loans, construction-to-permanent financing, and guidance lines of credit to builders and investors in Metro Atlanta and surrounding areas.
Some of his representative transactions include $500K construction loans for farm style houses in the Wild Rose subdivision in Forsyth County; numerous loans for in-fill construction in the city of Atlanta; and acquisition and development loans in Jackson and Fulton Counties.
Jason started his career at Quantum National Bank in 2000 and stayed for 23 years, working as a financial analyst, account manager for commercial lending, account manager for construction lending, special assets manager during the 2008 financial crash, and a construction lender. He joined HomeTrust upon it’s completed merger with Quantum in 2023.
Jason is proud of his ties to well-run community banking institutions and strives to help clients however he can.
He has a Bachelor in Business Administration in Finance from Valdosta State University and a Master in Business Administration from Kennesaw State University. He lives in the heart of Gwinnett County in Lawrenceville, where he was born and raised.
Jason and his wife have one daughter and a Goldendoodle named Baxter. They often travel all over the Southeast for his daughter’s dance competitions and vacation in Destin, Florida and St. Simons Island, Georgia.
