As a Vice President of Commercial Lending at HomeTrust, Nate Umberg specializes in lending for commercial and industrial ventures, commercial real estate, and commercial construction.
Among his representative transactions are $8.5MM for the acquisition of a C-store by a travel center and a $5.0MM line of credit for a fleet-repair company.
Nate started his banking career interning as a teller for First Bank of The South in 2007. He then began working in credit as an analyst preparing spreads, cash flows, and credit packages after the bank merged with United Community Bank. He continued in a credit role in 2012 managing a loan portfolio in excess of $120MM and began lending in 2015.
Prior to HomeTrust, he worked at Quantum National Bank.
A proud Georgian of more than 20 years, Nate played Division I soccer at Georgia Southern University and has participated in Leadership Gwinnett.
