Born and raised in the city of Suwanee, in Gwinnett County, Robert McLean is helping to spearhead the Georgia footprint of HomeTrust Bank.
As a Vice President in the residential construction lending division, Robert offers lot loans, acquisition and development loans, and construction loans to builders and investors in the home industry.
Robert enjoys driving around all parts of Georgia to visit his clients — west to Carroll County, south to Jasper County, east to Clarke County, and north to Lumpkin County.
He is also the youngest commercial lender at HomeTrust and employs his enthusiasm and dedication to assist clients — whether they have long-established careers or are just starting out.
He believes his banking relationships are friendships.
Robert graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of North Georgia in 2017. He joined Quantum National Bank shortly thereafter and helped it to become one of the top 10 residential construction lenders in the state of Georgia. As part of Quantum, Robert was chosen to attend the Georgia Banking School in 2022.
Robert enjoys spending time with his wife, Kristina, and his dog, Bear.
In addition, he loves playing golf, participating in men’s recreational baseball and softball leagues, and all things sports. He roots for the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Falcons, and UGA, and lives in Flowery Branch, Georgia.
