George Jones is a former Petty Officer Second Class in the United States Navy who has served two tours in Afghanistan and one in Iraq.
He now utilizes his commitment to service, teamwork, and camaraderie as an Assistant Vice President and Business Banking Area Manager at HomeTrust.
George focuses on assisting businesses with annual revenues up to $5.0M in Georgia’s Fulton and Forsythe counties, while coaching branch managers and staff in day-to-day activities.
He strives to build relationships with clients, advance the careers of his team, and build the reputation of HomeTrust in Georgia following its merger with Quantum National Bank in 2023.
Previously, George worked as a vice president and branch manager at Wells Fargo, where he attracted a loan volume of $115MM over a six-year period.
He currently forms part of the Gwinnett and Fulton Chambers of Commerce and volunteers with American Legion Thomas M. Brady Post 45 in Canton, Georgia.
George and his wife have four children and live in Ball Ground, on the northern edge of metro Atlanta.
