Amy Amorose is a Senior Vice President, SBA Lending Sales Manager at HomeTrust Bank.
In her role, Amy manages a team of five lenders and helps businesses across the United States with loans eligible for SBA funding. She provides loan options from $350K to $5MM and focuses on owner occupied real estate and business acquisition lending.
Her representative transactions include a $5MM SBA loan for the purchase and renovation of a Holiday Inn Express in the mountains of North Georgia; a $3.3MM SBA loan for the ground-up construction of a convenience store in the Atlanta suburbs; and a $450K SBA loan for the acquisition and purchase of a UPS store in the Metro Atlanta area.
As HomeTrust expands to Georgia, Amy aims to bring community bank service to those she advises. She also seeks to share in the success of her team and prioritize every client, from the first phone call to the moment a final payment is made.
Amy received her Bachelor’s in Business Administration in Finance from Georgia State University. She worked at Quantum National Bank from 1997 until its completed merger with HomeTrust in 2023.
Outside of work, she is a runner and huge “Peloton person.” She runs around 25 to 30 miles a week and loves the outdoors, gardening, doing house projects, and skiing in the West. On Saturday’s during college football season, you can find her watching SEC Football and cheering on her favorite team, The University of Alabama (Roll Tide).
Born and raised in Stone Mountain, Georgia, Amy still lives in Gwinnett County with her husband of 30 years. They care for their elderly parents, visit their son in South Florida, and attend St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Lawrenceville.
They also have two dogs, a Sheltie and an English Cocker Spaniel, who rule the roost.
