Muktar Ali believes small changes make a big difference to someone’s business.
As Vice President in the SBA Business Development division of HomeTrust Bank, he works with clients across the U.S. to make funds available for the purchase, expansion, or opening of a new business.
He provides Small Business Administration SBA 7(a) loans for business acquisitions, equipment, partner buyouts, owner-occupied real estate, and construction, with a particular focus on Georgia, Tennessee, and the Carolinas.
Muktar takes pride in building long term relationships and helping clients through the loan process, from assisting with SBA forms to providing information about SBA guidelines for timely closings.
Most recently, he restructured a client’s $550K loan in Villa Rica, Georgia; extended a $4.5MM SBA loan for a hotel in Hamilton, Georgia, and closed $350K purchase of a sub sandwich franchise in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Muktar previously worked as a broker in California for E-Trade Securities. He moved to Atlanta in 2004 and later joined Quantum National Bank, where he served as an account manager and commercial and SBA lender.
A graduate of the University of California at Davis, he and his wife live in the Embry Hills neighborhood of Atlanta and have two children, both of whom play soccer.
He also roots for the Las Vegas Raiders and Golden State Warriors.
